Denise Eissler began her first professional career in sales and marketing after graduating with a BS in Business Administration from San Francisco State University . Although not born with a natural enthusiasm for the business world, it was a sensible career choice for an independent-minded young woman. She climbed the corporate ladder by excelling in various sales positions in the high tech industry, much of the time wondering what life would be like if she had pursued a career that she was passionate about instead of one that was “logical and rational”. Along the way she took up mosaics as a hobby and soon began making items for family and friends as Christmas and birthday gifts. After hearing again and again from friends who urged her to sell her unique work, she finally said goodbye to Corporate America and launched Krakpot Kreations. In addition to her unique mosaic pieces, she is also studying to become a certified massage therapist.

The theme of following your passions and finding your happiness are obvious in all of Denise's work. She doesn't take her life or her art too seriously, as you will see in all of the vivid colors, unique materials, wacky shapes, and fun textures employed in each piece. The goal here is singular…to make you smile!

A California native, Denise now lives near downtown Austin , TX with her husband – Craig, her black lab/mutt – Hank, and her psycho black kitty – Mojo. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, bicycling, skiing, yoga, Austin 's live music scene, and kicking back with friends over a beer or two.
